I'm starting to really hate those two words 'potty training', i just don't seem to have any patience. My oldest son was fully potty trained by the time he turned 3yrs old, but my youngest...grrr don't get me started. I mean, i love the way he's so happy with himself when he does go potty and we're all clapping our hands and jumping up and down for joy when he does go.... but it's taken a while to get here.....
Quick rundown.....
Started with the asking if he needed to go potty, of course got the 'nope'. Then i would sit him on the potty, nothing but screams. Then i tried the cheerios trick, which he freaked out and wanted to go fetch them out, i flushed the toilet and man oh man did he freak out about that. I even tried a tin can, he just looked at me with the 'what in the world are you trying to tell me here'. So finally lastweek i said enough... i took his diaper off and left him in underwear, yes, we've had alot of accidents but i'm glad to say that as of this week he's been pretty good, actually today was an excellent day only one accident....
I tell ya, when he is completely potty trained i'm going to throw a party!!!!!!
